We've come a long way, Baby

Six months ago today we welcomed sweet Jackson into the world. It's crazy to think that he is that old and has come so far. So much was unknown at that time and I remember sitting by his bed wondering what the future would bring. Now here we are, 6 months and 2 open heart surgeries later and life is better than I ever could have imagined. Jack is fat, happy and healthy (for a kid with half a heart :)

Our lives have been changed forever for the better. We have been entrusted with the care of one of Heavenly Father's choice spirits and have witnessed miracles along the way as we've learned to put our trust in the Savior and his plan for Jack.
I can't wait to see what the next six months will bring.

Happy 6 Month Birthday Jack!

What a sweet post!
I felt the exact same way when my little guy with 1/2 a heart was 6 months old!
Now that he's 16 months I can tell you it gets better & better!!!

HAPPY 6 MONTHS JACK!!! You are such a stud without your Oxygen on! I can't imagine the thrills of no tubes. Although, I think I'd always be thinking I was forgetting something. Jack has come a LONG way and we pray for him to continue to get stronger and healthier! He's our little model Hypoplast!!

This makes my heart soar!!!!!!!!!
I am getting so nervous as we vastly approach delivery and each day is filled with new fears, pains, scares and joys...Its a wild ride but by the looks of Jack it will be so worth it! Lots of love. Leah
