Jackson was born August 2008 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a rare congenital heart defect affecting the left ventrical and aorta. Three days after he was born he had the first of three open heart surgeries at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. In January 2009 he had his 2nd surgery, the Glenn, and in May 2012 he had his third open heart surgery, the Fontan. He is currently doing great and you would hardly know he's anything but perfectly healthy. He's sweet, cute, and as wonderful as they come and such a joy in our lives.
Totally with you. I just wish the inversion would go away! Our play group is going to the zoo the last Wedneday of February . . . admission is free. Hopefully its 45 degrees. :)
Honestly. We are constantly seeking things out to do during the winter. We've gone to the Sweets Candy Factory Tour... the Zoo.. Discovery... But after 3 or 4 times they get old.
Soon it will be warm and there will be SO MANY DOORS OPEN. You need to go to Red Butte Garden's, to the Children's Garden. Jack would love it. Our Jack did.
40 degrees! I am jealous! My kids are going crazy so get to push the stroller through the cul de sac and often carry it over the snow drifts. Seriously! I am ready to hand shovel peoples sidewalks just so we can get outside! Obviously people don't walk as often as we do.
Yesterday my 3 youngest made "potion" with slush, snow and water. Alex loved it until the ice water froze his toes and then trauma!
I'm glad at least Jack can swing. We tried last week but could only swing if we shoveled under the swings or they got stuck. Yikes!

Nice story you got here. It would be great to read a bit more concerning this theme. Thanks for sharing that data.
