Jackson was born August 2008 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a rare congenital heart defect affecting the left ventrical and aorta. Three days after he was born he had the first of three open heart surgeries at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. In January 2009 he had his 2nd surgery, the Glenn, and in May 2012 he had his third open heart surgery, the Fontan. He is currently doing great and you would hardly know he's anything but perfectly healthy. He's sweet, cute, and as wonderful as they come and such a joy in our lives.
He is so darling! My folks said he is even cuter in person! I was so glad to hear that all is going well and soon you will know what happens next. We are thinking of you and praying for your sweet family. God bless!
Praise God for a strong, healthy, beautiful boy! Praying for clarity and wisdom for medical staff, for tender touch of all who you meet today, for confidence, for healing. From really far away!
I'm glad to see that you brought Jack into such a positive environment. He will never forget his dad's smiling face and the Crimson Red Ute Jersey. Enjoy the ride. Being a parent is the greatest. Good luck and God bless you.
GREAT pictures!!! Thanks so much for sharing. This site is making me bawl!!!!! Lots of love to you guys and I'll keep saying lots of prayers for Jack and his doctors...

we love you,
Hardy, looks like you've had a little too much son on the golf course!!!
LOVE the pictures! Brie likes the one where he's sticking out his tongue. He is so cute and you both look terrific, too. Hope you got some rest!
Hardy, have you checked into your room yet? GET SOME REST! EAT! And let me know what we can do for you ok?
