Off the Ventilator!
He made it and is officially ventilator free! His voice is pretty hoarse, but it's so good to hear him cry and see that cute little face again. He even started sucking on his pacifier again fairly quickly. What a trooper :)

Hooray Jack! This is just what we were hoping to hear.
Yay! It seems like Jack is making great time in this marathon of his! I am amazed at how quickly he is progressing. Go JACK!

that bodes REALLY WELL for the swallow test! I can't believe he is sucking on a binky. Jack never really took that on.
OH, and their cute little cries...they sound like little baby cats. Jack had that soft cry for months after leaving the hospital. It's really sad- but super cute.
