As good as it gets!

Dr. Kaza just met with us and said everything is done and went great. It was all but textbook. They will be taking Jack to the PICU within the next hour and we will get to go see him then.

The next 12 to 24 hours are critical and they will be keeping a close eye on him. His chest will be open for 3-5 days until Jack tells them he's ready for it to be closed. What a day.

Thank you for your prayers!!!! They are working.

I am glad that the doctor was confident that it went well. I can imagine what a relief it was for him to tell you. . .so far so good. Oh, I will continue praying that things go well. I look forward to seeing you holding him soon.
Remember I am just a call away if you need anything. . .anything at ALL :0)

Yeah!! Such good news! I have been checking in all day and I am so glad to hear Jack is doing well. Now hopefully you can take a deep breath and get a little rest. The kids have been excited to see the pictures so keep them coming. He is so wonderful!

Praying steadily through the day - and ahead through the next few days - for steadiness for Mom and Dad, clarity, confidence and wisdom. For caregivers - intuitive care, with great respect and tenderness; for Jack - rest, healing, and a 'magic shield' from the trauma. He is blessed.
